We pride ourselves on being passionate about early childhood education and play based learning. We believe that our centre is our own little community in which we work as partners with our families.
At Early Learning Centre Ocean Beach Woy Woy, our curriculum is a quality play based educational program to encourage the children to discover, imagine, create, and learn. We are open 52 weeks per year, closed only for public holidays. We provide a preschool program that promotes school readiness. We provide a healthy and nutritious morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. Our staffing is consistent and are Early Childhood trained.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly centre and welcome family involvement. Open communication is very important to us and we believe in a reflective practice, which is how we grow and learn together, constantly working towards improvement, aiming for perfection.
As we are a preschool/ long day care centre, we are also able to provide educational care to children from working families as we offer the extended hours of care to fit in with the families needs. For us it's all about the children, their families, and our community. We want our children to have had a happy day at preschool each day they attend. School is going to play a big part in their learning years and it's therefore very important that the children like going to school. By creating a kind, happy and safe environment we can instil in children's experiences that school is a happy place; a place where children are given the opportunity to be themselves, discover, use their imagination, create, and become effective communicators.
